Friends of Northwich Library Mad Tea-Party

Further to our quick discussion earlier today I have attached our initial ideas for the Friends of Northwich Library event (9th April 2011).
Thank you so much for agreeing to help us out with this matter – if you could provide some images related to an Alice in Wonderland styled tea party it would make such a huge difference to the quality of our publicity material.

The Friends of Northwich Library has been set up recently (by volunteers - alongside the Library Manager as an advisor) to promote the work of the Library. As part of this we are planning a ‘raising awareness’ event on 9th April. We have chosen to base this around the Alice of Wonderland and are planning a ‘garden party’ style event (see attached).

As a member of the FofNL committee I have been tasked to produce publicity material for the day to be circulated throughout the Libraries and local businesses. On these posters / flyers / Quiz clues I would like to use some images of tea party accessories, bunting etc. However I am very anxious not to break any copyright laws by using ‘google images’ and not being an artist myself I am struggling to make the materials look professional. I therefore (knowing your skills) wondered if you would be willing to provide the group with some coloured sketches / pictures that we could use in our publicity. Anything along the theme of tea party and Alice in Wonderland (cups and saucers, cakes, bunting etc) would be very welcome.

I hope this all makes sense – please do not hesitate to contact me if it doesn’t!!!

Once again – thanks so much for your time. I am sorry that we have not been able to give you much notice of the event – if you could provide the images as soon as possible we would greatly appreciate it.
