Yale College have a laser cutter which they offer to the public to use, for a fee. I headed up there this afternoon, with my Illustrator file ready to go, and was so impressed! The service was really impressive and quick, and how the laser cutter works was just amazing. I produced two batches of birds, and will hang them from fishing wire above my work for my exhibition next week.

The use of the laser cutter cost £10, which I thought was so reasonable. I am delighted with the results and the precision of the linework. The detail is just stunning.
I can't praise Yale highly enough for this service.
